Here in LA, our winter days are a little comical. It drops down to 60 and we throw on our warmest parkas and scarves and beanies. I mean, we need an excuse to wear all the cute clothes we buy for winter but rarely get to rock. I made it a mission to find the right kind of mix of warm and cold outfit and I came across this winner. I love this because I can pair these pieces in so many different ways these coming months.
The sweater: a cute tissue-sheer mock neck sweater. Different ways to wear it? As pictured (obviously), under a warm coat, with high waisted jeans, over a short or long sleeved dress, with shorts by the beach for those inbetween weather days in the spring.
The skirt: a fitted cotton blend skirt perfect for dressing up or down. Different ways to wear it? With a tshirt and sneakers, with a button blouse for work, with a sheer tank for going out, with a huge oversized sweater and pointed black booties.
The heels: I mean, who couldn't use metallic heels during the holidays!? I cannot wait to wear these at every holiday party I attend and of course busting them out for NYE! I wore them in this cute way as well
Bag: I bought this super chic but EXTREMELY affordable bag and it can be worn dressed down or fancied up. Whatever fancies you darling!
Let's just say, you won't go wrong with these LA babe staples.
PS, since people have been asking me how I style my hair, I use a T3 Micro curling iron to do loose waves. After I curl it, I run my finger through the wave so it does not get too wavy. Then I spray it with flexible hold hairspray and voila! I will do a tutorial soon!
