Day to Night: How to Wear a Low Back Dress at the Office

The infamous line I hear from my colleagues throughout the day happens to be: "Is it happy hour yet?". Nine out of ten times, they are saying that because it is only 10 A.M. and it has already been a tough day. I have noticed that planning happy hour with your colleagues gives you something to look forward to after some of the struggles you may be dealing with at work. In the workplace, we all seem to have one thing in common, we come in to get the job done, pay our bills, and for some of us, we come in to work because we love what we do. Whatever category you fit in, try to be that colleague that reaches out to the people who you love to work with and set up a happy hour. They probably could use an hour or so after work to let loose just as much as you do! Just promise me one thing, you will call an Uber home if you have a few too many!

Now back to what we truly love, fashion! Here I paired affordable and expensive to complete this day to night look. I have a love for low cut anything, whether it is low in the front or low in the back. The problem I tend it encounter is how to appropriately incorporate this type of piece at the office. For this outfit, I simply threw on a plaid chic coat I snagged at H&M, and it covered up the low criss-cross back that I would let out to party after the day is over! To lengthen my legs, I paired this mid-length dress with these Saint Laurent pumps that I love. They have a high heel, but a tall hidden platform in the front so your feet are not screaming at you towards the end of the day! To brighten things up, I wore a statement bib necklace I found at Zara and have received so many complements every time I wear it! Granted, this beauty for necklace has also been worn by Kate Middleton, so that may be why everyone is so goo-goo ga-ga over it!
