Why Don't You Cowl About It

This day was filled with back to back meetings so I wanted to wear one of my staple pieces, but also add in a pop of color. I got this black cowl neck dress almost five years ago, but I cannot seem to let it go due to its versatility. The fit of this dress is ridiculously comfortable and I appreciate the cowl neck in a conservative corporate environment. Being that red is my absolute favorite color (even my car is red), I brightened up a normally basic piece with bright shoes and a statement zip up blazer.

As you may have noticed in my previous posts, I tend to buy affordable staple pieces and dress them up with pricier statement accessories or shoes. You would never have guessed it, but I scored this amazingly chic blazer here at H&M. Greatest part about it is that it can be worn in a multitude of ways. I have previously paired this coat with different black and white dresses as well as my black trousers. It is typically uncommon to be able to do this with statement pieces, but this was an EXCELLENT find!

The rest of the outfit details can be found below the photos!

Enjoy! xo
