Are prints appropriate for the corporate office? Why not!? Step up your fashion game in the office. Be a bit daring. I promise you it wont hurt. Especially if you don't go print crazy and do prints all around. Try taking baby steps with me. I have always been a chicken about prints. For some reason wearing prints have always turned me off. I tend to stick with basic colors like black, white, gray and if I am feeling extra spicy I will throw in some red into the mix. But prints were NEVER my go to until I found subtle ways to pop them into my wardrobe, like I did with these high-waisted trousers.
I have to say, this was one of my favorite looks because of how beautiful yet comfortable this outfit was. This look can be worn for multiple business purposes. It can be worn at a meeting, a presentation, an interview for an artsy firm/agency and if you lose the blazer it can be worn to happy hour. Don't be afraid to show off some shoulders at happy hour in this beautiful cross over leotard. Yup, I said it, I am wearing a leotard here and I am loving it! It brings me back to my gymnastics days. Best part about it is that it is a thong leotard so you don't have to deal with those ugly lines that show through your trousers.
As far as the jacket and shoes go, you will see that I have previously worn these with completely different outfits here and here. Let's be honest, to be stylish at work you don't need to wear a different item everyday, you just need to know how to buy staple pieces and find creative ways of wearing them in a multitude of ways. Make them look so distinct that someone would not notice that you wore it twice in the same week. If you ever have any questions or need advice on this please feel free to shoot me an email! I am always here to help you fashionistas!
