It is Friday, just got done with a blowout and I am ready to get some work done, run the longest list of errands and start the weekend. I am really into a good pair of high waisted denim but sometimes it is hard to find a pair that works for me. I am petite, have a decent size toosh and a mid-sized (subjective) waist. Usually they are too tight on the bum and super loose on the legs, or the opposite, which sometimes I don't mind because it leaves room around my stomach for donuts and pasta :) The jean struggle is real, but I finally found a pair that I felt like were made for me. That was until I asked my 3 other friends who also own similar pairs from the same brand, Re/Done jeans, and they all said the same thing. So whatever magic these people have going on with their jean creations..keep them coming. Officially a customer.
Ok besides the jeans, I paired them with a sleek and sheer top I got from HERE, and this super cute suede jacket I got from HERE. What I like about this outfit is I can wear it during the day and into the night as well, just lose the jacket when you walk inside somewhere warm and throw on some cool tasseled earrings, like these ONES.
Wishing you all a beautiful weekend! I am doing my taxes and packing so wish me some luck and lots of vino!

What are you doing for International Women's Day today? Are you marching? Are you spending time with the women you love? Are you helping other women in need? Are you donating or supporting other women founded businesses?
I will tell you what is my gameplan for today is:

4) Shop from a few of my favorite women run businesses.

It is that time a year again! NYFW has come and gone and I am sadly leaving the city I love so much! The preparation took a month and I swear it zoomed by me faster than a bullet train. This time around I got to pack a ton of fun jackets, booties and cute outfit sets. A lot of the time people (including me) come to fashion week wanting to be photographed so we end up wearing these extravagant fashion forward items that at times are not relatable to everyday life. The one outfit I was pictured in most happened to be this outfit pictured here that is from a sponsored collaboration I did with one of my go-to for shopping sites; Lulus. I hand selected this outfit that has a mix of LA- cool girl and NYC chic girl vibes. Agree? Think I am looney? Sometimes yes, but I think we can both agree on this one :) The best part about this outfit is it can be dressed up, dressed down and worn ALL YEAR LONG.
Here are my tips to make this outfit versatile:
Black overalls: Summer time pair it with a cute tank or crop top (if you are risky just a bralette). In the winter, pair it with a turtleneck or sheer turtleneck and jacket/duster (as seen here).
Sheer Top: This is so so so good. You can wear this during the day with high waisted fitted or wide legged jeans. In the summer with high waisted skirts or shorts. In the winter as pictured here under a coat.
Duster: How cute is this jumper and the back splash of color and detailing. LOVE!!! The olive green was a plus for me as it goes with any color hair practically. I love that I can wear this truly all year long. Secretly cant wait to wear it at Coachella with high waisted shorts, booties, a western double buckled belt and white tank. Can you envision it? If so you need it too.
Sunglasses: I got these chic babies here and I feel like I am going to wear them everywhere. They remind me of Victoria Bcekham...who is a goddess BTW. These were not cheap, but they will last all year long.
Bag: Oh this affordable baby? Priced so well I had to.
Note: This was a sponsored collaboration with Lulus. All items were hand selected by myself and styled myself to maintain the integrity of my style and blog.
